Purchase Plan is an affordable and relaxed way to purchase your musical instrument. There is no deposit for most contracts and the freight cost is made within the first payment so there are no large cash outlays.

We offer the flexibility of choosing either a one year (13 payments) or two year plan (25 payments), whichever suits you best. Three year plans (37 payments) are also available but only for Alex. Steinbach upright and grand pianos. You may also select a preferred payment date to fit in with salaries or other budgetary demands.

We manage the payments which gives you peace of mind and the time to enjoy your instrument. Just nominate either the direct debit option or the credit card (VISA, Mastercard or Bankcard) payment option, ensure there are enough funds in your account to cover payments, and within 12 to 24 months you will own your very own instrument!

It is easy to work out the Interest Free Purchase Plan price. Firstly, discuss an agreed price with your music store. Please be aware that discounted sale prices and website specials may not be available on Purchase Plan. Generally all you need to do is divide the full retail price by the number of payments. If you would like to pay the instrument off over 1 year there will be 13 payments. If you decide on a 2 year plan then divide the price by 25 payments. Three year plans (Alex. Steinbach pianos only) can be calculated by dividing the price by 37 payments.

There is also a minimal account fee per month which you will need to add to this figure. For a one year plan this is $2.50 per month and for 2 and 3 year plans it is $4 per month. The balance of your contract can be paid out at anytime to reduce these fees.

An example of this calculation is a customer who recently purchased a Yamaha Absolute Beech Drum Kit worth RRP $4,795.00. This sounds expensive but broken down into monthly payments (including account fees) it actually becomes affordable:

• on a 1 year plan, it would be $371.35 per month = (4795/13) + $2.50 account fee
• on a 2 year plan, $195.80 per month = (4795/25) + $4.00 account fee

The application process is very easy. Just fill out your details online, download and print the application form, or email us for an application brochure and we will post one to your door. To ensure prompt processing of your application please complete all details relating to your employer, landlord and contacts.

The contract team aim to achieve the fastest response time possible so you will generally receive a response from Studio19 within one hour of receipt of your application (NB: this time may vary under certain circumstances). We are proud that we approve approximately 95% of applications and welcome applications from everyone - families, singles, full-time and part-time workers, university students and senior citizens.

The account management fee is only $2.50 per month on a one year plan and $4.00 per month on a two year plan, applied after the initial payment. You also have the option at any time to pay out the balance of the contract early. This will save you money because full payment for your instrument will eliminate any further account management fees.

You can make extra payments off your contract if you wish. There is no penalty; you will actually avoid monthly administration fees by paying out your contract early. Feel free to contact us for further details.
